My name is Jackie and acupuncture has helped me tremendously. I'm going to share my story with you.I have Osler Weber rendu Syndrome, otherwise known as Hereditary Hemographic telangectasia (HHT). this is a rare disorder that affects many organs. It is an abnormality of the blood vessels. I have direct  artery vein connections. Where they connect, a bubble forms, known as a lesion. these lesions rupture and bleed. In my case it causes severe nosebleeds. As a result I have had many transfusions.  They are in my liver and colon also. i am fortunate that I do not have them in my brain or my lungs. I have had nasal dermoplasty surgery as well as the transfusions. i also have ulcerative colitis. At one point I was so weak and ill from the loss of blodd with HHT and colitis that I was hospitalized. A friend saw me and recommended acupucture with Kim. I was open to try anything to save my liver and colon. My liver became so bad that I was put on a liver transplant list. Since acupuncture, I am now off the list. Not taking any medications and doing well. I am in remission with my colitis, nosebleeds are under control and my liver levels are that of a normal persons liver. I went to Kim for acupuncture 2 times weekly at first, then weekly. i am on maintenance now, but if I feel anything going on I seek her out for treatment sooner. I feel that Kim guided my body, through acupuncture, to heal itself. I can't thank her enough.
